Jameson 18 Year Old is an Irish whiskey matured for 18 years in hand-selected oak casks from Europe and America, then finished in first-fill bourbon barrels. The finish in bourbon barrels adds subtle traces of vanilla. Each bottle is individually numbered.
The nose has aromatic oils, a touch of wood and spicy toffee. On the palate it is mellow and smooth, with fudge, toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, vanilla and a gentle sherry nuttiness. The finish is long, carrying wood, spice and toffee through to the end.
