Jameson 18 Year Old is an Irish blend of three whiskey distillates, matured in oak for almost two decades. It then spends at least six further months in American oak. Bottled in 2022 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, it has no added colour and is not chill-filtered.
Wood, spiced toffee and aromatic oils lead on the nose. The palate is soft, with coffee, leather, sherry sweetness and vanilla, followed by a long finish.
