This is an 18 year old Jameson Irish whiskey, matured in hand-selected oak casks from Europe and America and then finished in first-fill bourbon barrels. The finishing adds subtle traces of vanilla to a mellow, balanced whiskey. Each bottle is individually numbered.
On the nose there are aromatic oils, a touch of wood and spicy toffee. The palate is smooth, with fudge, toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, vanilla and a gentle sherry nuttiness. The finish is long, carrying wood, spice and toffee through to the end.
