Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish blended whiskey, made by combining malt and grain whiskeys that have been triple distilled. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The Jameson name goes back to 1777, when John Jameson moved from Scotland to Dublin and joined the Bow Street Distillery.
The blend is matured in twice-charred ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks.
The nose brings toffee, cream and black pepper, with peach, apricot and apple. The palate is rich and intense, with spice and hazelnut.
