Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Jameson Black Barrel is a blended Irish whiskey, triple distilled at the Bow St. Distillery in Dublin and bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It blends pot still whiskey with grain whiskey. The expression is a tribute to the coopers. They take select ex-bourbon barrels and flame-char them a second time, and the whiskey is matured in these double-charred barrels. The nose is rich, with butterscotch, fudge, toffee and nectarine and apricot. The palate is creamy, with nutty notes, vanilla and spice alongside toasted wood, and the finish is long, with fruit and wood spices in balance.
