Jameson – Black Barrel Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish blended whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It succeeds Jameson Select Reserve. It combines Irish pot still whiskey with a smaller amount of grain whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled. The blend matures in American oak, sherry casks and Bourbon barrels that were charred twice, which gives the whiskey its name and its toffee and toasted oak spice. The colour is amber. The nose is rich and sweet, with coconut, apricot and toasted oak. The palate is very smooth, with exotic fruit, sweet honey and toasted oak. The finish is long, spicy and fruity.
