Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish blended whiskey made at Midleton Distillery in Co. Cork, in a 70cl bottle. It was created around the deliberate step of smoking and toasting the barrels in which the whiskey matures, giving a soft, rounded blend.
It is a deep amber in the glass. The nose is rich with ripe fruit, toasted wood, caramel and sweet spice, with vanilla in the background. The palate is gently sweet, rich and soft, with hazelnut, vanilla and toasted wood.
