Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish whiskey matured in double-charred casks, which give it a rich, intense character.
The nose brings butterscotch, treacle, toasted nuts, scorched coconut, raisin and vanilla. The palate is deeply sweet, with caramelised sugar, dark vanilla, pecan, crème brûlée, peppery spice and soft fruit in sticky, dark syrups.
The finish is long and toasted, with vanilla and raisins to the fore.
