Jameson Caskmates IPA is an Irish whisky made in collaboration with a local craft brewery. After maturing in oak casks, the whisky is given a second maturation in casks that previously held IPA beer. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers light malt, fresh fruit and a hint of hops. On the palate come caramel and vanilla sweetness with a citrus note and a slightly bitter turn, and the finish is clean, with herbal and citrus notes.
