Jameson Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled whiskey from Ireland, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It matures for four years in oak casks and is made with Irish spring water, following a recipe in use since 1780.
The character is mild and lightly sweet, with little smoke or peat. The colour is gold. The nose brings jam, vanilla, wood and a little sherry. On the palate there are grain and vanilla notes with fruit, wood and a fresh, slightly spicy edge. The finish is spicy, with sweet honey and fruit at the end.
