Jameson Irish Whiskey is a triple distilled blend from Midleton Distillery in County Cork, in a one litre bottle at 40%. The company traces its roots to John Jameson's founding in Dublin in 1780.
The blend combines pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley, with grain whiskey. It is matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks.
Tasting notes describe a nose of fresh green apple, citrus zest and vanilla pod, followed by honey, toasted oak and nutmeg.
