Jameson Irish Whiskey (175cl, 40%)

Jameson is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery in County Cork, bottled at 40% in a 1.75 litre bottle. It blends single pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley, with column-distilled grain whiskey. The whiskey matures in seasoned American oak bourbon barrels and European oak sherry casks before blending. Tasting notes describe light floral aromas with vanilla, toasted wood and dried apricot on the nose. The palate is soft and sweet, with vanilla, caramel, clove and light smoke. The finish is medium, ending dry with leather, faint tobacco and toasted oak.
