Jameson – Single Pot Still Five Oak Cask Release

Jameson Single Pot Still is an Irish whisky made from a mashbill of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled. This Five Oak Cask Release is named for its casks: virgin Irish, European and American oak, together with ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The nose combines cinnamon and nutmeg with toasted oak, honeycomb and salted caramel, alongside zesty fruit, fudge, butterscotch and vanilla. On the palate come dark chocolate, spicy toffee and ground cinnamon, with ginger, orange peel, smoked-wood tones and delicate tannins. The finish fades slowly, leaving spice and oak.
