A 50-year-old cognac from Jean Fillioux, presented in a luxury box. It is amber in colour, the result of long ageing in oak casks.
The nose brings dried fruit, especially prune and hazelnut, with vanilla, dark chocolate, nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate is velvety and rich, with caramelised fruit, honey, toasted and smoky tones, leather and tobacco.
The finish is long and warming, with sweet spice and precious wood.
