SO Elegantissime is an XO cognac from Jean Fillioux, aged for twenty-two years in oak casks in the family's traditional cellars.
The colour is deep amber with bright golden highlights. The nose is complex, with ripe plums and figs, vanilla and sweet spice.
The palate is rich and velvety, balancing sweetness and bite, with candied fruit, a touch of bitter chocolate and a little pepper. The finish is long and harmonious, leaving warm aromas behind.
