Jean Vesselle Oeil de Perdrix Champagne Bouzy

Oeil de Perdrix has long been a speciality of the Champagne house Jean Vesselle in Bouzy. It is made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in the best and sunniest parcels, which accounts for its intense, fleshy character. The colour, a greyish rosé, gives the wine its name, which means partridge's eye. The champagne is dry and elegant, with a fruity bouquet. It can be served as an aperitif or on its own, and also suits a full meal.
