Jefferson's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 41.2%)

Jefferson's Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the entry point to the Jefferson's range, bottled at 41.2% ABV (82.3 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Jefferson's was founded in 1997 by Chet Zoeller and his son Trey. It is a blend of Jefferson's base bourbon with three other hand-selected Kentucky straight bourbons of differing mash bills and ages, with one component making up at least 55% of the whole. The barrels come from undisclosed Kentucky distilleries and range from 8 to 12 years old. Tasting notes mention vanilla, baked bread and buttered popcorn, then molasses, burnt sugar, oak resin, maple and honey.
