Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Rye Double Barrel (75cl)

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Rye is an American rye whiskey that spends time on a ship as well as in the warehouse. It was aged first in #3 char barrels, then double barrelled in a split between #3 char and toasted barrels. The whiskey then travelled as Voyage 26, sailing from Savannah through the Panama Canal to New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Korea and Japan before returning home. The constant motion and changes in air temperature caramelise the sugars in the wood, while salt air works into the barrels, giving a rye that is darker, richer and more caramelised. It is non-chill filtered.
