Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Very Small Batch

Jefferson's Reserve Very Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled as a very small batch. It grew from a 15-year-old bourbon found in 1997 and judged rich and complex enough to release. In 2003 other bourbons were brought in to marry with that original. Over half of the original mash bill is still used, with up to three more bourbons added for extra flavour and complexity. It is described as a big, sophisticated bourbon with plenty of flavour up front, weight at mid palate and a deep finish.
