Jefferson's Very Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon blended from four bourbons of differing ages and mash bills. The combined mash bill is reported at about 60% corn, 30% rye and 10% malted barley, and the barrels have a very light char.
This version comes in the brand's redesigned packaging, with a black label, gold lettering and three stars embossed in the glass at the base. It is bottled at 88 proof (44% ABV), up from 82.3 proof.
Earlier bottlings were described as light and smooth, with caramel, vanilla, candied dark fruit, cinnamon and toasted oak, and a medium finish.
