Jim Beam Apple is a flavoured whiskey that blends Kentucky straight bourbon with natural apple liqueur. It is bottled at 32.5% (65 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The base is Jim Beam bourbon, made from a mashbill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley and matured for at least four years in new charred American oak barrels. The apple liqueur is added after ageing.
The nose is fresh green apple with soft vanilla and faint caramel. The palate is sweet and fruity, with crisp Granny Smith apple, a little cinnamon and soft oak. The finish is light and clean, with apple skin and warm bourbon spice.
