Jim Beam Apple is a flavoured whiskey that combines Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon with apple liqueur. It is bottled at 35% ABV in a 1.75-litre bottle.
The bourbon base is distilled from corn, rye and malted barley at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, and the apple liqueur is added to it.
The nose is fresh green apple with golden honey, and a little vanilla and grain beneath. On the palate, juicy green apple sits between tart and sweet, followed by warm vanilla, light caramel and subtle oak. The finish is medium, with lingering green apple, a touch of oak and mild warmth from the bourbon.
