Jim Beam Black Label is a seven-year-old bourbon from Kentucky, bottled at 43% in a one-litre bottle.
It is triple-aged, with six further years in deeply charred white oak barrels. These bring a full-bodied character, a richer aroma and a darker colour, and a smooth, complex flavour.
It starts semisweet, with smooth notes of oak and caramel.
