Jim Beam Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged four years, bottled at 40% in a 1.75 litre bottle. It is made by the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont.
The mashbill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, and the whisky matures in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose offers vanilla and light caramel with a little spice and oak, over delicate floral notes. The palate is sweet with vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and a gentle rye spice. The finish is short to medium, drying into oaky tannins.
