Jim Beam Devil's Cut is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Clermont, Kentucky distillery, bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It is made by a process that draws out the bourbon absorbed into the barrel wood, the 'devil's cut', which is the counterpart to the angel's share lost to evaporation. This is then blended with extra-aged bourbon, giving a bourbon with deeper, more robust colour, aroma and character.
