Jim Beam Double Oak is a bourbon matured twice in two separate charred oak barrels.
It spends its first period of ageing in charred American white oak barrels. It is then moved into freshly charred barrels to mature a second time. The extra contact with the wood gives a bourbon with an intense flavour and a smooth taste.
