Jim Beam is a Kentucky bourbon from a distilling family whose history goes back to 1795, with the recipe passed down through seven generations of Beam master distillers. This bottle holds one litre.
It matures in new, charred American oak barrels, and the colour is a light amber.
The nose gives sweet vanilla and caramel with oak and a touch of spice. The palate starts with honey and vanilla, then moves towards black pepper and toasted notes. The finish is of medium length, returning to vanilla with a gentle oak aftertaste.
