This is Jim Beam 6 Year Old Kentucky straight bourbon, known as the Pin Bottle, presented in a bowling pin decanter. It is a 70cl bottle at 43%, comes boxed, and was bottled in bond for export at the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont in the 1960s.
The 1897 Bottled in Bond Act calls for 100 US proof, but that rule did not apply in export markets, and this bottling is at 43%. James Beauregard Beam re-opened the Clermont distillery in 1935, after the repeal of Prohibition.
