Jim Beam Pineapple (75cl, 32.5%)

Jim Beam Pineapple is a flavoured whiskey that combines Kentucky straight bourbon with natural pineapple flavour. It is bottled at 32.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. At that strength it falls below the 80 proof minimum for the bourbon designation, so it is classed as a flavoured whiskey. The base is the distillery's bourbon, made from a corn-led mash with rye and malted barley. The nose is fresh pineapple with caramel, vanilla and a little oak. The palate is sweet and juicy, with pineapple at the front and soft vanilla, caramel and grain warmth behind it. The finish is short to medium, clean, with lingering pineapple sweetness and gentle oak.
