Jim Beam Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon (175cl, 32.5%)

Jim Beam Red Stag Black Cherry is a Kentucky straight bourbon blended with black cherry liqueur, in a 1.75 litre bottle at 32.5% ABV. It began as a homemade recipe by Win Wilkins, a Jim Beam R&D employee and deer hunter, who infused black cherry into bourbon for his hunting flask. The base is Jim Beam's straight bourbon, made from corn, rye and malted barley. The nose is led by ripe black cherry with vanilla, light oak and a little brown sugar and cinnamon. The palate is sweet and cherry-rich, with caramel, oak and bourbon spice, and the finish is moderate and slightly dry, with cherry and soft spice.
