Jim Beam Rye is a Kentucky rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, from the Jim Beam distillery at Clermont, which has operated since 1795. It comes from one of the distillery's oldest recipes, thought to date from before Prohibition, and uses at least 51% rye.
The nose opens with clear toasted rye, followed by wood, vanilla and butter over a smoky background. The palate is soft and full-bodied, and the finish is lasting, with smoke and caramel.
