Jim Beam – Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 108 Proof (54%)

Jim Beam Single Barrel is a bourbon bottled at 108 proof, or 54% ABV. Each bottle comes from an individually chosen barrel and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Jim Beam raised the strength from 95 to 108 proof in 2019. The nose combines oak and vanilla with warm caramel, honey, and a fresh hint of mint and citrus. On the palate, oaky richness is balanced by caramel, vanilla and mint, followed by cinnamon, dark cherry and crushed peanuts. The mouthfeel is silky and medium-bodied. The finish is moderately long and warming, with spice, oak tannins and sweet red fruit such as cherry or cola.
