It is made to a recipe used since 1795 and aged for four years in newly charred American white oak barrels.
The nose is described as light oak, vanilla and a touch of caramel, with hints of grain and spice. The palate is smooth, with sweet corn, vanilla, brown sugar, baking spice and toasted oak. The finish is medium in length, with a soft spice kick and lingering sweetness.
