Jim Beam – White Label Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Jim Beam White Label is the flagship bourbon of a brand with roots going back to 1795, sold here in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is roughly 75 to 77 per cent corn, 13 per cent rye and 10 to 12 per cent malted barley. It is aged for a minimum of four years in new, charred American oak barrels and bottled at 80 proof. The aroma is of warm caramel, vanilla and sweet corn, with a light nutty edge, honey and mild oak. The palate is sweet and medium-bodied, with vanilla, caramel, light rye spice and honeyed grain. The finish is clean and moderate, with vanilla, soft oak and a touch of sweetness.
