This is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, part of Jim McEwan's Signature Collection (edition 4.1). It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 at 11 years old, at a cask strength of 61.3%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a first-fill Bordeaux barrique. It is non-chill-filtered, has no added colour and was a limited bottling.
The nose is described as intensely fruity, with elegant spice and a hint of oak. The palate is full, balancing sweetness, spice and a light dryness.
