This is John Haig's Dimple, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1950s, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a blend with a high proportion of malt whisky, including malt from Glenkinchie and Linkwood. It is known as the Pinch in the American market, and comes in one of the most recognisable bottles in whisky. The Haig family is among the oldest distilling families in Scotland, with the first record of whisky distilling in the family dating from 1655. John Haig & Co. later became one of the founding members of the Distillers Company Ltd in 1877.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
