A blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a 75.7cl bottle at 40% ABV, carrying the John Haig name.
The Haig family has a long history in distilling. Robert Haig was distilling in the early 17th century, and by 1733 the Stirlingshire distillery founded by Kane McKenzie Haig had become Scotland's largest and the world's first commercial distillery. The family also went on to establish the predecessor of the Jameson distillery in Bow Street, Dublin.
The home of Haig is now known as Cameronbridge distillery, which is recognised for making grain whisky.
