A 12 year old Irish whiskey from John Jameson, bottled in the 1980s at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is named in honour of the founding of the Bow Street distillery in Dublin by John Jameson in 1780. The first Jameson 12 marked a change in Irish distilling. After Jameson, Powers and Cork Distillers joined as Irish Distillers in 1966, the old pot still whiskeys gave way to blends. This one combines pot still whiskey from Bow Street with column still grain whiskey from Power's John's Lane distillery.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
