This is John Jameson & Son Pure Old Pot Still Dublin Whiskey from the 1950s, in a 75cl bottle. The label carries the initials JJ&S. It was bottled by John Broder of Rosemary Square, Roscrea, in County Tipperary. In those years Jameson was bottled locally by wholesale bottlers such as Broder's, and each of them used their own label. The bottle is a record of how Irish whiskey was once distributed through local bottlers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
