This is Locke's Irish Liqueur Whiskey from John Locke & Co., a bottling that dates from before 1957 and comes in a 75cl bottle. John Locke & Co. was an Irish distilling company, incorporated as a limited company in 1893. John Locke himself had acquired the Brusna distillery in Kilbeggan in 1843. The company ran the distillery until it closed in 1957 and stopped trading the following year.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
