Gold Label is a blended Irish whiskey from John Power & Son, bottled in the 1970s at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Powers is a blend built on a pot still base. Irish Distillers moved all production of its brands from the now closed John's Lane distillery in Dublin to New Midleton in 1975, and this bottle comes from the decade in which that change took place.
