John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend 200th Anniversary Exclusive Release (70cl, 51%)

John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend is a blended Scotch whisky made to mark 200 years of the Walker family's whisky business, founded in Kilmarnock in 1820. It is an exclusive, limited release bottled at 51% ABV and comes in a white presentation box carrying the 200 Years emblem. The blend is inspired by the Old Highland Whisky that John Walker himself would have made in the earliest days of the business. The nose offers sweet dried fruit, vanilla, light honey and warming spice. On the palate there is dark dried fruit, gentle spice, caramel and a creamy malt sweetness. The finish is a soft pepper one, lingering alongside sweet fruit and vanilla.
