This is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky from John Walker & Sons, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. Its Lunar New Year design was created by the fashion designer Angel Chen.
The blend includes whisky from Port Ellen, a distillery that is now silent, alongside Speyside and Highland whiskies.
The nose is sweet and smoky, with orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon. Spice and dried fruit are balanced with vanilla on the palate, opening into sweet fruit, dark chocolate, toffee and roast nuts. The long finish carries a coastal smokiness from Port Ellen.
