This is a Lunar New Year limited edition of John Walker & Sons King George V, a blended Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle. The blend honours whiskies from distilleries that operated during the reign of King George V, and includes rare stocks from the closed Port Ellen distillery. The whisky inside is the standard King George V blend. The Lunar New Year edition carries a design inspired by traditional Asian artwork. The nose is rich smoke, dried fruits, dark chocolate and polished oak. The palate has layered sweetness, honey, roasted nuts, gentle peat and soft spice, and the finish is long, with lingering smoke, oak and dried fruit.
