John Walker & Sons King George V Special Edition (75cl)

John Walker & Sons King George V is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It commemorates the Royal Warrant granted to John Walker & Sons by King George V on 1 January 1934. The blend uses whiskies from distilleries that were operating during George's reign, from 1910 to 1936. Some of those distilleries, Port Ellen among them, no longer exist. The whiskies are blended to reflect the Johnnie Walker style of that era. It is described as layered and intense, with hints of roasted nuts, dark chocolate and a sweet smokiness.
