John Walker & Sons Odyssey Rare Triple Malt (70cl, 40%)

John Walker & Sons Odyssey is a blended malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% abv. It brings together aged malts from Cardhu, Clynelish and Royal Lochnagar, assembled by Diageo's blending team, and is no longer in production. It comes in a geometric crystal decanter, inside a black presentation box with a circular embossed silver interior. The nose is waxy and coastal, with vanilla, dried stone fruit, toasted oak and a light Highland smokiness. On the palate there is honey, beeswax, orchard fruit and caramel, with a gentle salinity. The finish is long, with beeswax, dried fruit, vanilla oak and a trace of coastal smoke.
