John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2016 (70cl)

John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2016 is a blended Scotch whisky in a 700ml bottle. This edition centres on grain whisky. Master Blender Jim Beveridge selected over 100 casks of single grain Scotch, including whisky from five Johnnie Walker distilleries and the closed Caledonian, Cambus, Carsebridge and Port Dundas. He grouped them into a woody, vanilla and fudge style and a sweeter, estery, honey style, and added a Highland single malt from experimental casks. The blend was then married in cask for several months. It balances aromatic honey sweetness with soft fruit character.
