A blended Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. Malt and grain whiskies are married together, each matured for at least eighteen years.
The casks come from roughly two dozen distilleries across Scotland. Cardhu, Glen Elgin and Auchroisk add sweetness and honeyed malt, Blair Athol brings fruit, and Island malts contribute a thread of coastal smoke.
The nose is honey, vanilla and soft cereal, with apricot pastry and apple strudel. On the palate come orange marmalade, dark honey and stone fruit, then malt, dried fruit, dark chocolate and a little smoke. The finish is medium, ending on bitter orange peel and light charred oak.
