Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Years is a blended Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle, formerly sold as Platinum Label. It is made from up to 18 selected whiskies, each matured for at least 18 years, and bottled at 40% abv.
The blend draws on sweet Speyside malts, a Highland character and gentle smoky undertones.
In the glass, the nose brings rich dried fruit, dark chocolate and caramel with a touch of citrus and light smoke. The palate is creamy vanilla, toasted almonds and malt sweetness with gentle spice and a little peat. The finish is long and warming, with oak, dark fruit and delicate smoke.
