Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old Sherry Edition (70cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Black Label Sherry Edition is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40%. Part of the blend is matured in former sherry casks, which adds fruitiness to the Black Label character. It is a deep golden colour. The nose is gentle, with smoke, nutty notes, vanilla and tea scone, and it changes little with air. The palate is light-bodied, with fruity malt and sweetness. The sherry is subtle, but enough to soften the smokiness usually found in this style. The finish is short.
